The youtube videos on literature reviews were very comprehensive! Both were helpful. I like how the first youtube suggested that the goal of the lit review is to write what other researchers have said about your topic and distill this into a coherent statement. It is like writing a short essay that connects the past with what you want to research in the future.
I also liked how in the second youtube the professor from NC State suggested that the lit review is like a story and you need to write about the past and also connect it to the future.
I also liked how the woman in the first youtube talked about how all research has a precedent. We are standing on the shoulders of many researchers who came before us.
